Spring 2007

Dear Clients, Friends and Family,

Many changes are in the wind for our nation, the economy and ourselves.  In the midst of these shifts, remaining or recovering into a state of peacefulness and harmony may become our greatest challenge.   Creating a world that works for everyone certainly requires more clarity of thought, courage and inner strength than we can normally access.

So the good news is I have finally found the home for our Aquatic Sanctuary in Augusta, MO with real mineral water!  My home in Creve Coeur is on the market and available for viewing nearly anytime.  I’ve included more info later in this newsletter.  So, as soon as we have a buyer, I am prepared to move.   Arriving while the weather is warm, and everything is growing and blooming would be the most desirable.  So, I’m asking for your prayers, and if you know someone who would be interested, please pass this on.

In Augusta I will have a home very similar to my current one plus 10 ˝ acres, so I will continue business initially with a warm water pool in the basement with easy accessibility, and sufficient room for all our services.  And we will have much more parking room!  Two outdoor warm water pools for classes and Watsu supported with solar panels will be available also (my bones can’t wait to work outside – much needed Vitamin D).  The grounds have a 500’ well with wonderful mineral water that will fill our pools, ionic footbaths, showers, for drinking water and food preparations.

As funds permit, our first order of business will be to build a 30’ yurt.  We will need to be self-sufficient and self-reliant, so as we are able, we will add two more 30’ yurts, platforms for tents and yomes for families.  I will be dedicating our work to our Military Families (calling it Active Gratitude) for their healing/cleansing and detoxification, though it will be open to everyone.  Growing organic, biodynamic, French intensive fruits and vegetables is another goal.  Finally, having weekend, week-long and month-long healing retreats is my primary goal.  Continuing to do all that we do, plus in a longer and more complete fashion is a dream come true.   I will be hiring people and asking for volunteers to expand and serve in a friendly and most efficient manner.

As many of you may remember, I have worked with Margie Lewis, Herbalist and Iridologist, for many years and Margie has offered to work with us in Augusta.  We will schedule days when she can be there for consultations.  Another new service will be blood analysis by Sue Conley, RN.  I feel particularly honored and privileged to have two very accomplished and knowledgeable women joining our work.

Please notice our spotlight corner:  Phyllis Barnaby.  She began working with me on February 15, and has been a life saver.  Probably when you call or schedule an appointment, you will be speaking with Phyllis.

We have made good strides in the home/business moving preparations, so we are continuing business as usual and, in fact, with Phyllis’ help, we are able to schedule more people sooner and with more services than previously.  So, don’t be discouraged about our changes, we will do the best we can.

In the future, I will be concentrating on Watsu, Massage, Jin Shin and the Shamanic work of soul retrieval, severing of attachments and space clearing.  Others will be helping with the sauna, ionic footbaths, rife machines, ear candling and the sale of products.

I have been invited to present on Watsu at the 29th Annual International Association for Human Caring Conference sponsored by UMSL, May 16-19, 2007 at the Millennium Hotel, St. Louis, MO.  If you are interested in learning more about this incredible conference, you may check the daily schedule at www.humancaring.org.  Registration is available online as well.

The article on Watsu was my abstract for the IAHC conference.  Since this is being sponsored and attended largely by the nursing profession, I wrote primarily referencing the medical model.

As soon as I am certain of our moving date, you will be the first to know.  We will be doing a fundraiser and planning our building construction.  If you would be interested in helping in any way, please let us know.

And, yes, my son Joe is still in Iraq, so world events press near and dear to me.

Blessings and good health to one and all!

Kathleen

Aquatic and Far-Infrared Therapies Built In

This is a blessed home. Every owner in the past 41 years has grown healthier, stronger and more prosperous while living here. Quite a track record, I would say. In Chinese terms, it simply has an auspicious layout and grounds surrounding it. And this has proven to be true for our family as well. It is also the perfect house for a home-based business near a prestigious commercial area located in Creve Coeur at a very affordable residential price. For health and healing it is truly an amazing home with a 3-person far-infrared sauna and a 12' warm pool (95 degrees).  Beautiful and spacious with over 2,200 sq. ft. on main level, including a vaulted ceiling great room (18’ x 33’) with 22 windows and 2 sky lights. Trees and a large corner lot make the home feel secluded while easy access to everywhere. Lower level has a large finished business area with its own entrance. This has been home to a successful business for the past 19 years. Three full baths, 2 on main level. Many new upgrades: formal dining room, newer kitchen, carpeting (beautiful wood floors underneath), new roof (2 years), new furnaces, water heater, new vinyl in lower level, large wrap-around deck, 3 sides-brick, wheelchair accessible. Optional: 3 person far-infrared sauna and a heated 12’ pool. Priced below appraisal at $339,900 seen by appt. only, call 314-432-5228. Optional alternative healing arts business for sale also.
